However, the bulk of my progress this past week has been made in finalizing my logo. The logo was a difficult process for me, seeing as though the task was to re-brand the company graphically. The challenges were using the colors from Raleigh USA's existing logo; effectively incorporating the shapes that will be used in the design; considering techniques to market them in a positive way; and in the meantime, fighting an unwelcome computer virus. With the logo pretty much in place, I have begun efforts in re-formatting my book. Colors and fonts will change, but margins from the book created during the fall will allow for the same basic page layout.
I also started researching different modular/prefabricated stands that could be utilized in my design. After seeing what was available on the market, I realized my original intentions for the number of custom pieces has to change. The plan to design 2-3 pieces has grown to 5 or 6. Nonetheless, it will create for a better design since I'll have the freedom to choose practically any shape, color, and material. I also looked at Raleigh USA's website in order to select the quantity and type of merchandise that will be used for the booth's product display.
