Since Monday, more revisions and changes have been made to my logo and book format. During the process of creating a logo, I learned a lot in IllustratorCS4. I have only ever used the program to make a resume, text document, or flyer. With the help of classmates and tutorials, the ability to draw and create graphics in Illustrator has become so much more of an easier task. And with the experience of compiling a book last semester, I spent time reorganizing files to make the assembly somewhat of a smoother process.
Yesterday, I revisited blocking diagrams for the exhibit in order to accommodate the addition of custom display pieces. After looking through some images while researching modular stands, I was starting to envision what direction the levels of my design are going to take. The nature of my design has become more sophisticated in form and structure. I spent time this afternoon drawing more detailed blocking diagrams with the intention of putting it into CAD tomorrow. In combination with doing these preliminary drawings, I'm forced to start designing the bike racks and other product displays in more detail. Unfortunately, I feel like I have yet to reach the peak of creativity when designing bike racks.
